Kitchen Remodel

Clients in Gilbert, AZ wanted to convert their rental back to owner occupied.  It was built in 1993.  Other  than some light facelifts throughout the years, it was still in pretty much original condition.  Clients decided to do an entire kitchen remodel.  We removed the soffit above the cabinets, removed all the cabinetry, countertops, flooring, & appliances.  We removed drywall to check a repair on an old leak.  So we took the opportunity while we were down to studs to replace the fiberglass insulation with a higher R value spray in insulation. We updated the texture to a heavy hand texture, nearly smooth with a 90/10 Spanish lace. Client picked beautiful rustic alder cabinetry with a painted maple with chocolate glazing for the island & fantasy brown marble for the countertops.  We updated the lighting with cans, under cabinet LED's, & a rustic pendant over the island.  All lights were put on dimmers.  The entire house got new flooring, a ceramic wood look tile with texture.  We finished the backsplash with a handmade white subway tile from Spain & a soft grey on the walls.  Clients were extremely happy with the results & love their "new" house!
